BIOGRAPHY

Alexander Avellan has joined Rainone Coughlin Minchello’s Iselin office as an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice group representing numerous public entities and municipalities.

Mr. Avellan’s background includes extensive experience in strategic legal advice and client representation in various areas, including contracts, commercial litigation, and labor law. He has experience representing a variety of municipal entity clients in general litigation matters in connection to Title 59 and has served as general counsel for a non-profit focused on reentry services for court involved individuals.

Alexander serves as General Counsel to the Hudson County Latino Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he volunteers with the non-profit organization New Jersey Coalition of Latino Pastors and Ministers and Habitat for Humanity.

Mr. Avellan, who is fluent in Spanish, is a graduate of Swarthmore College and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served on the executive committee of the Latin American Law Student Association and the Student Bar Association.
